Drive and convert home equity leads into loans through Home ValueBot, an online home value estimator linked to your credit union's Web site. CUNA offers the estimator through a new marketing agreement with ClickRSVP, a lead generator and e-marketing firm.

Consumers supply basic information, such as address and city/state or zip code, and the Home ValueBot calculates a home value estimate within seconds.

The tool is quick and easy for members to use, and includes links to begin the loan process through the credit union Web site, says Jim Hanson, vice president of CUNAs center for personal finance. "This feature turns leads into solid loans for your credit union."

Site-selection tool

Eliminate the difficulties of identifying a new site for a branch or automated teller machine (ATM) with Pointrac, a new site-selection tool available through CUNA and Verdi & Co., Buffalo, N.Y.

Pointrac pinpoints the best potential locations for success based on the credit union's expansion strategy. The software also compares market characteristics of a potential new site with the credit union's existing locations, gives key market demographics for successful branches, describes the potential trade area for a location, and details the retail destination points in a specific area to improve branch or ATM performance.
