* Alliance Capital, one of the nation's largest money managers, has retained the services of Gardiner & Theobald Inc. as project manager for the build-out of 230,000 square feet of office space, comprising an expansion of six full floors, plus sections of various other floors, at its headquarters at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, announces Andrew Mann, FRICS, principal of the New York office of the global construction consultancy. The project includes a sumptuous, 24,000-square-foot company cafeteria and kitchen and the restacking of 2,000 employees over the course of the construction.
